“I Love Lucy” aired October 1951 and was an absolute obsession. The sitcom was the first TV series that was filmed in a studio in front of live audience, with a 35 mm camera, and in a three-camera format.

If you were alive during the 1950’s, chances are, every Monday night at 9:00pm (ET), you sat down to watch a new episode of I Love Lucy. People loved the show so much that the country basically stopped everything for 30 mins each Monday!
